Saturday, 10:06, ring 3, CDS third level test 3. Sunday, 8:08, ring 2, USDF third level test 3. Kim Frederick's ride times on Klondyke are as follows: Friday, 9:21, ring 1, CDS PSG, Saturday, 11:15, Ring 1, USDF PSG Laura Blanton's ride times with Ryan are as follows: Friday, 9:24, ring 5, USDF 2nd level test 4. Gearing up for Championsips There will be a total of four horses training under Sandy at the Regional Finals. See who they are. 9/16/2009 Sandy and Woccelli have qualified for the Championships at Intermediare 2 for both CDS and USDF. Woccelli has been working very well lately and Sandy hopes for a good show. Sandy will also be showing Donner Starr at 3rd level, both CDS and USDF. Donner has been cleaning up in the show arena this year so hopefully he will show well at Championships also. Kim Frederick and her horse Klondyke will be showing at PSG and Laura Blanton will be showing Ryan at 2nd level. The show starts on October 1st and we wish good luck and many ribbons to everyone!

Woccelli debuts at Grand Prix Woccelli put in a solid Grand Prix test at Dressage in the Almonds 6/25/2009 Woccelli's first Grand Prix test at Mar Val Stables in Lodi went reasonably well. He scored a 62% under Gail Hoff-Carmona and had very few mistakes. He really has come a long way in the last half year, and his piaffe and passage have improved considerably. He scored sevens on the passage and sixes on the piaffe. Of course, there is room for improvement, but over all, it was a respectable start. Sandy is at home diligently polishing elements of the test and the pair should be seen in the show arena again in July or August.

Teree Castanias Gets Gold Medal Teree gets the final score needed for her Gold medal aboard Hartman 6/25/2009 At the three star show at Pacific Equestrian Center in Wilton, Teree Castanias earned the final score she needed to achieve Gold Medal Status. It was her best ride ever with very few mistakes and Hartman received 7's on his piaffe and passage. To prepare, Teree put Hartman in full training with Sandy for about four months and came out weekly for lessons and to practice the test. It really paid off. Hartman turned 20 this year and is such a trooper, but not always easy to ride. He is very sensitive and an over achiever, so every move you make on him is interpreted as a cue. Teree learned that just because you have a horse that knows Grand Prix, you cannot be a passenger up there. You really have to ride every step of the test. It is an amazing achievement. Congratulations Teree and Hartman!
